The New Source Logo
With a new building, and in what is a new phase for The Source Youth
Cafe, we felt that it was an appropriate time to “re-brand” the Source
logo.
We then received a very generous offer from Design
Bridge, a design company based in London, to hold an “in-house” competition
to give us a new logo.
Working from material explaining the work of the Source
the design team went to work to create a new logo which would represent and
reflect the core values of the Source Youth Cafe.
When we were advised that the designs were ready to be
“judged” we invited five young people to come to London with us, clear that
it was important that they chose the winning design and not us.
Design Bridge presented the six submitted designs to
the young people, and after much discussion and “telephone voting” from a
fifth young person who wasn’t able to make the trip to London, a decision
was made……………….
We are pleased to be able to unveil, what turned out to
be a unanimous decision, the new logo, designed by Sara Faulkner of Design
Bridge
The logo, unveiled by the Mayor of Rushmoor at the
recent Grand Opening, will be making its appearance soon…….
